Ratcliffe's ambitious meetings and a look inside Carrington's new building
It's been another busy and intriguing week at Manchester United - and here's all the inside talk
Munich remembered and Murtough remembers
It will forever be a privilege to be at Old Trafford on February 6. The annual fan-led memorial service lasted for the best part of an hour last week and the list of attendants ensured the pen for journalists and photographers was fuller than usual.
Sirs Jim Ratcliffe, Dave Brailsford and Alex Ferguson were among the dignified observers. Ratcliffe and Brailsford sported maroon club ties.
Ferguson appeared genuinely moved when Reverend John Boyers mentioned his wife, Lady Cathy, in what doubled as a service for those near and dear to United who had passed over the last year. Ferguson mouthed a “thank you” when supporters spontaneously broke into applause.
